Marinated Goat Cheese During the spring and summer, it is a wonderful treat to marinate your own goat cheese. Use 3-4 ounce rounds of fresh, mild cheese for best results. Either slice off rounds and coat in breadcrumbs or use crumbled over salads. Place in 300ƒ oven until warmed through. Serve on top of mixed salad greens for a classic French touch!
Put goat cheese into a wide-mouthed jar, loosely packed, with your choice of the above listed aromatics and cover with oil. Allow to marinate for at least a week, refrigerated. Let come to room temperature before adding to salad or warming in oven. |
