Yogurt, Honey & Mint Sauce
Served with fruit, a simple and elegant
dish for brunch or a light lunch
Serves 4 as a first course or light lunch
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups drained yogurt* (good quality, plain)
- 3 TBL Branches Citrus Blossom Honey
- 1 TBL fresh lime juice
- 1/8 t lime zest, finely grated
- 2 TBL fresh orange juice
- 1/8 t orange zest, finely grated
- 4-5 fresh mint leaves, finely shredded
*Place cheesecloth in a strainer set over a bowl or sink and pour in yogurt. Let drain for at least an hour until thickened.
Whisk all ingredients together until smooth.
Serving Suggestions: Cut up seasonal fruit such as peaches, nectarines, berries, pears, melon, pomegranate seeds, or figs and either fold in the sauce or dollop on top. Garnish with additional fresh mint leaves.
Great served with pancakes as well!
